Jeanine "was"
the Dowager Countess of Lennox. She started performing at the Bristol
Renaissance Faire in 1992. Usually walking with her friend Chuck Guthrie
(William Cecil, Baron Burgleigh) with a smile on her face she would
have no hesitation to tell you what's what if she felt strong
about it. She was everyone's Mom or Grandmother. One of the Matrons
of the faire she will always be missed swaggering about the faire
with her "birdcage" hat and signature walking stick. We
Love You Jeanine.
Jeanine began her final year at the faire in 2002
as usual and fell ill mid run. She spent weeks in the hospital and
passed on September 5th.

At the time of
Jeanine's passing I received the following message from Jeanine's
son Phillipe:
"I want to take this opportunity to thank you and all of the
people who are paying tribute to my mother. This is a very difficult
time however your love is helping my family and I. Phil"
